The DiskStation RS2423+ 12-Bay NAS Enclosure from Synology is a versatile and cost-effective storage server for central data storage and sharing, endpoint and server backup, surveillance management, and other business applications. With sequential reads of over 3500 MB/s and sequential writes of over 1700 MB/s, as well as the option to boost I/O speeds through SSD caching, the RS2423+ provides flexible storage with strong built-in data protection capabilities. Powered by Synology's DiskStation Manager (DSM), the RS2423+ can be expanded with 12 additional drive bays, or use the PCIe 3.0 x8/x4 slot to install a 1/10/25GbE networking card.
